🖤 Mutuwhenua moon ritual for women

Friday 1st November 

Cleo Shortland

Open to all women, an evening of connection and ritual under the Maramataka moon of Mutuwhenua. the Dark Moon and the last day before we move into the new.  Mutuwhenua invites us to look at the parts of ourselves that we repress and don't allow others to see.  An opportunity to breathe into ourselves.  To rest.   

 

What to expect

  • Karakia, guided visualisation and journaling

  • Opportunities to share

  • Mutuwhenua inspired ritual

  • Following the ritual, we move into relaxed conversation over tea and a nourishing vegetarian platter

 

What to bring

  • A journal and a pen for reflections

  • You're free to dress up and bring cushions and blankets for extra celebration and comfort

Join Zoe, certified breathwork and meditation practitioner, for an intimate evening of cacao, breathwork, sound healing, and journaling as we savor the final light of the day and carve out a moment just for ourselves.

 

Sunset Serenities is designed to help you unwind after a long day or prepare for the weekend ahead. It’s a space to still the mind, step away from life’s demands, and connect with others in a serene, calming environment. All are welcome!

 

What to expect:

  • Begin with guided journaling to set your intentions for the evening.

  • Experience a heart-opening cacao ceremony, using organic ceremonial cacao to reconnect with your body.

  • Engage in connection exercises, leaving with new, like-minded connections.

  • Embark on a 30-45 minute breathwork journey, fully guided and suitable for all experience levels.

  • End the evening with a soothing meditation and sound bath, using crystal sound bowls, to help you relax and find your inner peace.

Join Iris this Friday, October 4th for a New Moon Circle in Libra, focusing on balance and inner harmony.

 

The evening will include Breathwork, Guided Meditation, and Creative Journaling to align with the Libran energy. We’ll further explore insights through Tarot, with a nightcap of blue lotus tea and vegan treats.

 

The night will close with a Sharing Circle, offering space for reflection and connection. Perfect for setting intentions and creating balance in your life

Mind Body Nourish

Sunday 8th September

The Mat Collective and Matcha Wednesday invite you to celebrate Spring with a select group of guests

 

Guests will be treated to a morning of mindful movement on their yoga mat, guided by Jenna Mueller, followed by nourishing matcha-inspired treats.

 

The morning has been curated to wake up the body out of it's dormant winter state, move stagnant energy and allow the body to bloom into it's new being.

Move Write Share

Sunday 15th September and 20th October 2024

Robbie Fear

A gentle infusion of somatic movement/dance, creative writing and community connection. We’ll begin with 45 minutes of guided somatic exercises, featuring meditation, stretching, shaking, and exploratory body movements. This will seamlessly transition into 15 minutes of free-form writing or poetry, guided by a prompt or theme. We’ll conclude with a brief sharing circle, offering you the option to share your experiences or writing.

Throughout the session, Robbie will guide you each step of the way, while reminding you that everything is an invitation, and to listen to your body. This workshop welcomes both newcomers and embodiment enthusiasts. No experience needed, just an open and curious mind.

Robbie Fear is a trauma-informed somatic therapist & narrative counsellor with a deep love for movement, creative expression and deepening the connection to the body

Guided Tarot Circle and Sound Bath

Sunday 15th and 29th September 2024

Join us for an evening of Tarot, creative writing, and sound healing. In this guided session, we’ll tap into our intuition and channel it through writing, uncovering strengths and areas of focus. This practice deepens our connection to our paths, fostering growth and harmony.

 

After the Tarot session, seamlessly transition into Jess’s 7:00 pm class, featuring a 45-minute Reiki-infused sound bath. This experience is designed to reduce stress, promote deep relaxation, and help integrate your insights. We’ll begin with tea and a guided meditation, ending with reflection.

 

What you'll need:

    •    Journal, pen, Tarot cards (Major Arcana, if you have them)

    •    Cushion, blanket, eye pillow (optional)

    •    Water bottle, warm clothing

No prior experience needed—just come with an open heart

Women’s Full Moon Circle

An intimate evening of connection for the Full Moon in Aquarius. An opportunity to recenter, reset and connect. The evening will involve a guided meditation, cacao, sharing circle, oracle/tarot cards to pull and a sound bath to close.

 

A judgement free space to authentically express and check in with yourself. Wear something comfy, bring an open mind and heart, aswell as everything for a sound bath (eye pillow, pillow, blanket, water bottle) journal and pen.

Reiki-infused Sound Bath

Wednesday 21st August 2024

Jess Pearson, Esmeralda Tikao and Matt Reeves

Join us for a 45-minute trio sound healing experience with special guests Esmeralda Tikao and Matt Reeves. We begin with tea to set the tone for our immersive sound bath, inviting you to explore your inner landscape through sound and meditation.

This unique experience features a variety of carefully selected instruments. Jess brings the resonant tones of the buffalo drum, the harmonic sounds of crystal singing bowls, and the gentle tinkling of Koshi chimes. Esmeralda complements this with her own set of crystal singing bowls and chimes. Matt introduces the melodic rhythms of the handpan and ancient sounds of the Kōauau, creating a rich auditory experience.

What you'll need:

• Cushion, blanket and eye pillow (optional)

• Water bottle and warm, comfortable clothing

Daisy, the founder of journl, has drawn upon her extensive experience in mental health and Psychotherapy training to create a resource aimed at fostering personal healing and growth. Whether you're new to journaling or a regular at the journl classes, everyone is welcome. Our class is designed for all skill levels.

 

This event is free, but bookings are essential. Classes at 9am and 10:30am.
